McGregor and Carrey to play lovers
Ewan McGregor is to star opposite Jim Carrey in a new darkness comedy called 'I Dearest You Phillip Morris'.
Variety reports that the plastic film marks the directorial debut of 'Bad Santa' screenwriters Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.
Based on real events, the film tells the storey of a con creative person (Carrey) wHO fell in making love with his cellmate (McGregor) spell in clink in Lone-Star State and escaped on four part occasions.
He is presently service a 144-year sentence.
Production on the film will start in the spring.
